Games Of Tomorrow has released Patch 1.4.0.0 for the early-access escape shooter *Incursion Red River*. This update, described as the largest to date, adds support for six languages, including Japanese.

This escape shooter has been in Early Access since April 2024. Set in a modern-day Vietnam plunged into chaos by three factions, it offers a balanced FPS experience that’s realistic without sacrificing fun, and players can also enjoy bringing supplies back to their hideout to upgrade their gear.

This game, where the goal is to scavenge for supplies on the battlefield and escape alive, is similar to “Escape from Tarkov,” but it’s a PvE game that allows players to form squads of up to three people.

With Patch 1.4.0.0, released today, November 5, the game now supports six new languages, including Japanese.

The Largest Update to Date

Although the game has been in Early Access for about two and a half years, Patch 1.4.0.0 is reportedly the largest update to date. In addition to the new “Outskirts” map, new weapons, movement mechanics, and utilities have been added.

Update #4 – November 2026

• New Map: Outskirts

• Added a new indoor area to Delta

• New Operations for all maps: Airdrop & Convoy. Use the laser rangefinder to call in airstrikes

• A new boss, Convoy, roams Delta at night

• New Story Missions: 3 Main Missions + 2 Side Quests

• New AI Director: Controls the number of enemies engaging you at once

• Added Raid Traders, Barter Items, and Secure Containers to all maps

• New medical system: Severe bleeding, broken bones, new visual effects, and new medical items

• New Food and Drink System Introduced

• New Movement Mechanics: Tactical Sprint, Low Ride, High Mantle

• New Utilities: Various smoke, gas, and flash grenades. You can also throw projectiles to distract AI enemies

• Automatic terminal hacking via hacking devices

• Preset Sharing: Share AI settings and weapon presets with friends via code

• Support for Frame Generation (AMD, NVIDIA, Intel) & Intel XeSS

• New Languages: German, Simplified Chinese, Russian, Korean, Japanese, Spanish

• Completely revamped inventory

• Complete overhaul of recoil, weapon balance, and scopes

• Improvements to lighting, ambient sounds, and gunshot reverberation

• Improved performance and load times

• Installation size reduced from approximately 80 GB to approximately 40 GB

"Incursion Red River" is currently available in Early Access for Windows (Steam) for 2,464 yen (1,971 yen until November 10).
