On November 5, 2026, Shochiku Games released the PC (Steam) and Nintendo Switch versions of the 3D roguelike action game *Mugen Sakura Rōkaku*, developed by the indie game studio Denneko Yūgi.

In this game, you control “Retra,” a girl with cat ears and a hood, as you explore dungeons whose layouts change with every playthrough. You’ll build character builds tailored to each situation while aiming to defeat powerful bosses lurking deep within the dungeons and clear end-game content.
The game features an incredibly satisfying sense of exhilaration—from chaining combos by rapidly tapping buttons to the easy-to-use, game-changing “Over Arts” special moves—as well as the depth of character builds created by combining over 50 types of enhancement items called “Attributes.”With the “Dream Depth” system—where enemies grow stronger the longer you stay in the dungeon—and the risk-reward dynamics it entails, this game offers an overwhelming amount of content and replayability that will keep you coming back for more.
Game*Spark is currently featuring an interview with the game’s developer. “Marketing for the previous title didn’t go well, and it didn’t sell at all,” says developer Hosenka, revealing his dedication to the concept, systems, and the protagonist, “Retra.”
“Mugen Sakura Rōkaku” is now available on PC (Steam) and Nintendo Switch. It is priced at 1,500 yen, but until 11:59 PM on November 18, it can be purchased for 1,200 yen—a 20% discount.
