Voxel Bytes released the survival driving game *Zero To South* on November 7 (Japan Time).
Set in a post-Y2K America, players must repair and upgrade a beat-up car while heading south

The game is set in an alternate history version of the United States where civilization collapsed due to the “Y2K” (Year 2000) problem. Players take on the role of a taxi driver and embark on a long journey heading south.

Your taxi—your companion on this journey—is in terrible shape at the start, so it requires constant maintenance to keep it running. You’ll also need to secure fuel and food, so you’ll stop at buildings along the way to search for supplies, tools, and spare parts. The items you collect can be used not only for repairs but also to upgrade the car’s performance and add armor. Since no help will come if your car breaks down or runs out of gas, managing your limited resources is the key to survival.

Along the way, armed bands of bandits may block the road, lying in wait to steal your items and money. To move forward, you’ll have to fight them and break through their blockade.

Meanwhile, in various locations, you can pick up passengers and deliver them to their destinations, receiving useful items such as food and supplies in return.
"Zero To South" is now available for PC (Steam). The regular price is 1,400 yen, but to celebrate its release, it’s available at a 20% discount—1,120 yen—through November 21.
