On November 5, 2026, independent game developer Marvin Wizard unveiled the Steam store page for “Vital Shell 2,” a low-poly mecha action game he developed and is publishing.
From a survival-style action game to 3D mech action. It looks like there will be plenty of customization options.
This title is a 3D mech action game where players control a mech to destroy enemy units within each stage. While the previous game, *Vital Shell*, was a survival-style action game featuring a mech as the player’s craft, this new installment appears to have evolved into a pure 3D mech action game.
According to the official X account, the new title is set in the “Vital Shell” universe and is described as the game for those who have been hoping for a full-fledged mecha action game.
From ground combat and aerial battles to close-quarters combat and long-range shooting, it appears to cover all the essential elements of a third-person 3D mech action game. It also supports 1-on-1 PvE and PvP battles in arenas, allowing players to battle via split-screen or online.
It also appears that mechs can be customized in great detail, part by part. Customizations tailored to the battlefield—or those meticulously crafted by the player—will likely be the key to victory.
