◆ “Glowing Embers: Southern Star”

“Embers: Southern Star,” an anime-style 3D action RPG developed by China’s Mizi Lan Studio, is now available for addition to your Steam wishlist. This project is a reimagining of the mobile game *Embers*, which launched in China in October 2025, as a one-time purchase PC title. It has an unusual backstory: the creative studio that handled the art production for the original mobile version is now redeveloping it as a one-time purchase PC game.
According to an interview conducted by the Chinese media outlet “Youxi Xinzhi,” the original game “EMBERS” was an anime-style action game for smartphones that launched in China in October 2025. However, sales were lackluster, and the development team effectively disbanded at the end of June 2026.As a result, the outsourced studio—which had stopped receiving payment for its production costs—reportedly began developing the PC version on its own.
While the original version was a quarter-view action game, *Hui Jin: Nanxing*, currently in development, is being created as a full 3D game featuring a sandbox-style map. On Steam, it is currently available only in Simplified Chinese.

◆ “ARCHETYPE BLUE”

Characters act in the order of front row, middle row, and back row, after which the player uses cards to attack, heal, or buff them. The game also features episodes that explore the relationships between party members; deepening these bonds can lead to acquiring new cards, suggesting that character relationships play a significant role in gameplay.
The game is scheduled for release on January 12, 2027, and a demo is currently available on Steam. On October 28, an update was released that included balance adjustments for characters and cards, as well as UI improvements. Development is being led by a team of four, and the goal is to complete the game within about one year of the Early Access launch. The game also supports a Japanese interface and subtitles.
