[Free Weekend] “PAYDAY 3” with Some DLC Now Free and Turn-Based 4X Strategy “Age of Wonders 4” with Naval System Are Coming!

For a limited time until 3:00 a.m. Japan Standard Time on November 10, Steam is hosting a free weekend for the PC versions of the heist FPS *PAYDAY 3* and the turn-based 4X strategy game *Age of Wonders 4*.

“PAYDAY 3” Has Become More Accessible and Deep with Free Heist DLC

This title is the latest installment in the co-op heist FPS series, where players join a gang to collaborate on a variety of crimes, including theft and murder. Although the game struggled with harsh reviews upon its September 2023 release, three years of content updates and improvements have helped it settle into a “Somewhat Positive” rating based on reviews from the past 30 days.

In a recent update, all heist DLCs that were previously sold for a fee have been made free. The game has also been revamped with a new campaign mode, skills, and armor systems, making it more accessible and offering a deeper gaming experience for both new and returning players. The Free Weekend seems like the perfect time to decide whether to join a heist crew or recruit new members. Additionally, the game is on sale at 70% off through November 13.

『Age of Wonders 4』

This is the latest installment in a fantasy 4X strategy series where you can experience stories of conflict and interaction among various races in a vast magical world, all from the perspective of each race’s leader. Centered on the theme of “creation,” the game offers creative gameplay options, such as the ability to create your own original race that transcends the boundaries of existing ones.

The DLC “The Silver Seas,” which adds a new race inspired by aquatic creatures, ocean-based locations, and events, will be released on November 3. At the same time, a free update introducing trade routes and water-based facilities will be implemented, allowing players to enjoy even more complex and strategic nation-building.With features like online PvP, it’s no exaggeration to say this game offers endless playability. A 60% off sale is currently underway through November 19, including the Free Weekend period.

The free weekends for *PAYDAY 3* and *Age of Wonders 4* are scheduled to run on Steam until 3:00 a.m. JST on November 10.
