Taskpop has announced the PC (Steam) simulation game *Shear It!*.
From cute sheep to monster-sized ones!?
This game is a first-person simulation centered around shearing sheep.
Players shear sheep in a peaceful pasture by clicking or holding down the mouse button. They collect the wool in a basket, spin it into yarn at the wool workshop, and earn money.
The game features a money-based upgrade system, allowing players to improve tools—such as shears, storage capacity, collection efficiency, and spinning wheels—to speed up their work. Players can also switch from manual shears to electric clippers. The Steam store page hints that not only do the sheep gradually grow larger, but a “giant sheep wrapped in wool” will also make an appearance.
Furthermore, the announcement trailer showcases everything from adorable sheep to the aforementioned sheep of a size that could be mistaken for a monster, and something resembling a jetpack can be spotted among the tools placed on the upgrade desk.
*Shear It!* is scheduled for release on Steam with Japanese language support.
