The Breach Studios plans to hold a closed playtest for the open-world adventure game *Westlanders* on Steam starting November 10, 2026 (local time).
An open-world Wild West adventure with PvE multiplayer—featuring survival, crafting, building, and management elements
This open-world adventure game, inspired by 19th-century North America, supports solo and cooperative PvE multiplayer. Players travel across the wilderness by wagon, building an economic ecosystem and rising from a desperate struggle for survival to become the leader of a thriving frontier community.
The game features survival challenges against various natural hazards—including frostbite, heatstroke, disease, and wild animals—as well as crafting tools and firearms based on late-1800s technology, building and customizing settlements, and optimizing production lines through worker management.It was recently reported that Team17—the studio behind *Overcooked* and other titles—has been selected as the game’s new publisher.
Sign-ups for this playtest are now open via the Steam store page. While details on the specific content available to play have not been revealed, the game can reportedly be enjoyed “alone or with friends.”
*Westlanders* will launch in Early Access on Steam in early 2027. A closed playtest is scheduled to take place on Steam starting November 10, 2026 (local time). The game is also slated for release on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.
