TGS 2026, one of Japan’s largest video game expos, was held at Makuhari Messe in Chiba from September 17 to 21 (the in-person event on the 21st was canceled due to a typhoon). At the Third Wave booth, announcements regarding new products were made. Here is our report on the new products announced that day.

At the press conference, Masaki Nagai, President of Third Wave, took the stage first. He explained that the company is active in three fields—games, creative industries, and AI—and reported on its recent activities.First, regarding the gaming sector, the company has sponsored tournaments and events such as VALORANT Challenger Japan 2026, Capcom Cup 12, and Nijisanji Fest 2026. At TGS 2026, they highlighted that GALLERIA PCs were not only on display at the GALLERIA booth but were also installed at other companies’ booths.

Next, in the creative field, the company is implementing initiatives to expand creative activities, such as the GALLERIA × pixiv Illustration Contest and DCP seminars and contests. Finally, in the AI field, the company is hosting events such as the AI Art Grand Prix and the AI Festival.

Third Wave announced its new E Series, a product line based on the concept “Gaming, Creativity, and AI,” which covers all three of these fields. The E Series aims to deliver high-performance PCs that seamlessly integrate into everyday life.

The E Series is a new line that covers all three uses—gaming, creative work, and AI—in a single device. It supports high-performance GPUs while reducing the footprint by approximately 68% compared to conventional models and is equipped with six fans. The design standards ensure operating noise remains below 60 dB and internal case temperature stays below 60 degrees even under heavy loads.

Rather than simply making the PC smaller, the goal is to create a PC that can be placed on a desk and used continuously; therefore, the product emphasizes not only performance and cooling efficiency but also a design that blends seamlessly into everyday living spaces.

The E Series is designed to be a PC that can be used continuously on a desk, with the assumption that users will be working right next to it.Although it features a total of six fans, the design standards ensure that operating noise remains below 60 dB and the internal case temperature stays below 60 degrees Celsius even under heavy loads. We explained that the E Series is a product that successfully balances cooling performance, quiet operation, and high performance.

Next, they introduced the new SMTRE-R59-GL model, equipped with a Threadripper 9980X processor and targeted at AI development and creative applications. This model is designed for AI development, video production, 3D CG, and AI-driven creative fields. It features the Threadripper 9000 series and comes equipped with 128GB of memory, enabling smooth handling of large-volume data production and simulation results.

Galleria’s “AI Ready” lineup was also introduced. This product series is designed for a wide range of applications, including generative AI, AI development, and AI utilization in local environments, with 10 models scheduled for release in the initial launch. Additionally, the company is working on verifying and visualizing AI performance, measuring the processing performance of each product and presenting the results in an easy-to-understand format.

Following the explanation of “AI Ready,” the final announcement was the Galleria collaboration models commemorating the 40th anniversary of the “Final Fantasy” series. This collaboration is themed around the 16 numbered titles in the series, ranging from the original “Final Fantasy” to the latest installment, “Final Fantasy XVI.” These models feature character illustrations on the Galleria’s glass casing.

The “Final Fantasy XIV Fan Festival 2026 in TOKYO” is scheduled to feature an exhibition of the “FF14” models. After the stage presentation concluded, several “Final Fantasy” collaboration models and E-Series chassis were displayed at the venue.
