The first day of the Tokyo Game Show is over, so I’m heading to the internet café where I’ll be staying tonight. But before that, since I’ve been working hard from morning till night, I definitely can’t skip picking a place for dinner to treat myself. Maybe I’ll go to that tempura rice bowl shop in front of the station and wolf down a huge bowl packed with veggies!

…Come to think of it, after last year’s assignment, I went to a tempura rice bowl place too, and my phone broke right in the middle of eating. All the photos I’d taken that day were gone, and the next day was a total madhouse.
It’s not that tempura rice bowls are bad at all, but since it seemed like bad luck, I quietly munched on a rice ball from the convenience store and headed back to the internet café to write my article.
◆ Pay Off Huge Debts Through Factory Automation! “Lazy Witch’s Factory”
Today I’m introducing “Lazy Witch’s Factory,” a PC title developed by Meltclock and published by Phoenixx! This is a roguelike factory builder in which Momoko—a witch who was tricked by a demon into taking on a massive debt—aims to pay it off with the help of her familiars.

Your job is to collect resources—such as wood and rocks—scattered across the field and transport them to your boss, Gehenna. However, since Momoko herself can’t swing a pickaxe or carry mined stone, she must hire familiars to do the work.

If you place familiars around the stone blocks, they’ll mine them automatically. However, since the mined stone remains where it is, you’ll need to build a system to transport it to your boss.

By connecting a waterway from the familiars to her boss’s location, you complete a system where the mined stone is automatically transported and delivered. With this set up, all you have to do is sleep, and your wallet will fill up on its own.

There’s actually a “Sleep” command that lets you fast-forward time. However, simply delivering the stone won’t be enough to meet your quota within the time limit. You’ll need to use the money you’ve earned as capital to place another familiar along the waterway and process the stone into products that sell for a higher price.

To pay off a 5,000 trillion yen debt, you’ll build a massive production factory. Aim for a life of passive income where your pockets get warmer just by sleeping!
“Lazy Witch’s Factory” is currently available in Early Access for PC (Steam)!
◆ Your friends, your dog, and everyone in town has turned into zombies! “THE FIRST ZOMBIE,” a reverse zombie game starring a zombie protagonist
Next up is *THE FIRST ZOMBIE*, brought to you by Phoenixx and the *THE FIRST ZOMBIE* Production Committee!
This game is essentially a “reverse zombie game” in which a young man who suddenly turns into a zombie one day proceeds to turn people all over the world into zombies. The latest teaser trailer was unveiled at the event!
The protagonist of this game appears to be the type of zombie with a strong sense of self. In other words, the benefits of having a zombie body that never gets tired seem to outweigh the downsides of becoming a zombie. So, the protagonist takes it upon himself to lead humanity to a new stage, biting his pet dog and the townspeople to steadily increase the zombie population.
He’ll expand his zombie ranks and transform the streets of Tokyo into Zombie Town! All with the best of intentions!
“THE FIRST ZOMBIE” is scheduled for release on PC (Steam) and Nintendo Switch!
Maybe it’s because I gave up ten-don, but my smartphone didn’t break this year. People often ask me, “Don’t you need to stay at a hotel?” but internet cafes are actually the perfect environment for writing articles.
I can order a light meal when I get hungry, and there’s an all-you-can-eat selection of drinks and soft-serve ice cream! However, since I can’t sleep comfortably in a fluffy bed, my HP only recovers to about 70% the next day.
