Digital Extremes has officially announced that it will launch the Open Prelude for the fantasy action RPG *Soulframe* on November 6 (local time) and has also released a trailer. The Open Prelude is a pre-alpha event open to anyone, as previously announced on October 15 (local time).

This title is a new fantasy action RPG developed by the creators of *Warframe*. Players take on the role of an emissary with ancient fae blood, aiming to purify and save the contaminated “Arka.” The game supports not only solo play but also parties of up to four players.
The game’s pre-alpha, dubbed “Prelude,” has been running on an invitation-only basis and has undergone numerous updates; however, it was announced on October 15 (local time) that it would transition to an “Open Prelude” accessible to everyone.
The Open Prelude begins on November 6 (local time)
During “Devstream 18,” released on October 31, details were revealed about “Verse of the Veilands” as the next update for the Prelude. Features such as a mount system allowing players to ride the “Omen Wolf” and fishing were introduced.
Furthermore, stating that “we are ready to expand the community even further,” the company officially announced that the Open Prelude will begin on November 6 (local time) and released a teaser trailer.
The Open Prelude, which is free and open to everyone, requires players to create an account on the game’s official website to register.
*Soulframe* is currently in development for Windows (Steam, official website) and consoles. The Prelude is being held exclusively for the PC version.
