Today, October 31, Future Friends Games released *Queen's Domain*, developed by Freshly Baked Games, for PC, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2.
An Adventure to the Island of the Sleeping Queen, Paying Homage to *King’s Field*
This title is a first-person retro fantasy action RPG inspired by FromSoftware’s *King’s Field*. It has been attracting attention from fans of retro RPGs and Souls-like games since its announcement, and has been praised by the international media outlet PC Gamer as “perfect for fans of classic FromSoftware titles.”
The story is set on “Nearseed Island,” where an evil, immortal queen was once sealed away by a knight wielding the Holy Sword. The queen, who was supposed to be in eternal slumber, is beginning to awaken once more, and signs of dark magic are starting to appear throughout the land.
The king, who led an order of knights to the island to put the queen back to sleep, has been missing for several months. Worried about his father’s safety, the protagonist sets out for the island to uncover the truth and, if necessary, defeat the queen with his own hands.

After washing ashore on Nearseed Island, the protagonist sets out to explore this seamless island, which is riddled with hidden rooms and shortcuts. The gameplay features movement-based action using the legendary holy sword “Endu.”
Using the power of the holy sword, the protagonist leaps over cliffs and chasms, traversing from platform to platform as they make their way through intricately designed, three-dimensional dungeons. Upgrading the holy sword increases the jump distance and unlocks powerful special moves.

Combat is real-time action centered on stamina management, where you fight by strategically using charged attacks, weapon-specific special moves, magical attacks, and over 20 types of throwing weapons.
With over 50 types of melee weapons available, you can collect and upgrade them to build a setup that suits your playstyle. In addition to leveling up with experience points earned from defeating enemies, you can also boost your stats by equipping accessories and eating food.
You’ll face over 100 types of enemies, including mini-bosses and bosses. The estimated playtime to complete the game is 30 to 40 hours or more.
