Danish indie developer Raw Power Games has issued a statement saying the studio is facing the threat of closure.
Studio May Close Just Before ‘Chronicles: Medieval’ Early Access Launch
In June 2025, the studio*Venom* and *Mad Max*, was announced in June 2025. After releasing new gameplay footage in June 2026, the studio had aimed to launch the game in Early Access in early 2027. This sandbox strategy game,*Chronicles: Medieval*, which is set during the Hundred Years’ War.
Raw Power Games, the developer of the title, has now released a statement indicating that the studio is reportedly facing the threat of closure.
According to the statement, due to certain circumstances beyond the company’s control, funding to continue development of the game has been cut off. Over the past few days, the studio has reportedly been holding discussions with anyone who might be able to help resolve the situation, in a bid to ensure the survival of both the studio and the game.
Regardless of the outcome of these discussions, the studio has promised to provide further updates on the situation. Finally, they have expressed their hope that players looking forward to *Chronicles: Medieval* will add it to their wishlists and continue to spread the word about it.
