Developer ION LANDS and publisher 505 Games have released the seventh update for the cyberpunk life sim *Nivalis Nights* on PC (via Steam).
Update Released to Fix Issues Such as Unnatural Progression Due to Choice Mechanics

This life simulation game lets you enjoy a life of freedom in the cyberpunk city of Nivalis by running a business that starts with a small ramen shop.As you gain experience through various everyday activities—such as socializing in the city at night, fishing in murky canals, cruising around, and redecorating your home—you’ll aim to rise to the top by discovering new ingredients and leveraging the connections you’ve built, eventually becoming the owner of a popular restaurant or a high-end nightclub in the city.

In this update, issues where the story seemed to progress unnaturally based on player choices have been fixed, and convenience related to managing your business has been improved—such as ensuring ingredient deliveries now function as intended.Additionally, the reduction in security levels during the nighttime curfew is now phased, and performance and system improvements have been implemented, including fixes for controller operation issues and performance enhancements resulting from reduced memory usage.

Full Patch Notes
The full patch notes are as follows. Please note that this text has been edited based on machine translation and may not accurately reflect in-game terminology.
Story & Quests
We have fixed an issue where story dialogue would sometimes continue as if a different option had been selected. This primarily occurred when saving, loading, or sleeping while a phone call was in progress.
Missed calls will no longer be completely ignored. They will reappear at key moments in the story.
Dialogue will no longer begin while the loading screen is displayed.
Green Thumb: King Mushrooms and beef cultivated for quests are now stored in your inventory instead of disappearing. This allows you to return to Ma Gomba to complete the quest.
Story dialogue, quest text, and newspaper articles have been updated.
Venue and Staff
If a guest leaves before their drink is ready, the drink will no longer be left inside the drink machine.
Since empty cups no longer return to the drink machine after a guest finishes their drink, new drinks will no longer stack on top of old cups.
You can now clean up cups left in the drink machine yourself, not just the staff.
Food deliveries are now handled by management. Other staff members will only take over when management is absent.
At venues where the manager’s lock has not been unlocked, you can no longer hire a manager.
Characters who were fired in the story (Ashwin, Sal) no longer appear on the hiring list.
Sal Magundi, now that he has become a manager, no longer spins in circles next to the storage bin while restocking ingredients.
Restaurants run by other owners now resume operations on schedule, including the morning after you load a save file. The store signs will switch between “Open” and “Closed” in accordance with the change in operating hours.
Kitchen appliances can only be used from the front. You can no longer operate them from behind the counter and jump to the other side.
You can now place a table menu and an umbrella on the same table.
Items placed on high tables no longer fall off the table and onto the floor.
Fixed furniture has been placed at the yakitori and sushi counters at “Doors to Yama,” as well as at the grill in the food trailer.
Trash within the yakitori shop’s premises now scatters in appropriate locations.
In previous save files, trash that used to float in the air has now fallen to the floor, allowing staff to clean it up.
Customers at Octane & Olive (Spire) can now sit facing the correct direction, the doors at Yummy Canteen open properly, and kitchen equipment now displays the correct icons.
In older save files, the cost of ingredients for crops grown in the greenhouse no longer significantly affects the venue’s financial status.
The correct customer type is now displayed in the customer information window.
We fixed an issue using a large refrigerator filled with groceries.
The design of the staff list has been completely revamped.
Recipes selected from the shop’s menu list are now easier to read.
Curfew and Public Safety
A location’s security level will no longer drop suddenly from 5 to 1. From now on, it will decrease by one level every two days unless an incident occurs; if it is discovered again at Level 5, it will remain at Level 5.
Furniture stolen from other venues during a curfew will not be restocked the following morning. That venue must go without that furniture for three days.
Security camera placements have been revised at Seaside Boardwalk, Helix, Calypso Island, Hive Mall, Skyhigh Gardens, Spaceport, and Metro Hub.
Fixed an issue with the nighttime curfew at Seaside Boardwalk.
