"Godzilla: Monster Brawl" Remaster—Store Pages for Japanese Console Versions Now Live; Switch 2 Version to Be Released Slightly Later

The Japanese store page for the remastered version of *Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters Melee*, titled *Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters Melee Remastered*, has been released.

The Japanese page—which had previously been released for PC and Xbox—is finally in sync with the international versions and supported platforms.

This title is a remastered version of the GameCube arena fighting game *Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters Melee*, based on the original *Godzilla* series.

Developed by Pipeworks—the same studio behind the original—the game features 12 monsters, including Godzilla and King Ghidorah, as well as eight stages, such as cityscapes modeled after real-world locations and Monster Island. It supports both single-player and local/online multiplayer modes.

Initially, this remaster was announced only for overseas markets; the Steam store page for the PC version was inaccessible from within Japan, and no Japanese-language page for the console versions had been prepared.

However, as of October 2026, not only had the Steam store page become accessible from within Japan, but a Japanese-language demo (distribution period ended at the time of writing) had also been released. At that stage, it was still unclear whether the game would be officially released in Japan, but after the Game*Spark editorial team contacted the publisher, Atari, it was confirmed that support—including for console versions—would be provided.

Now, in addition to the previously confirmed PC and XBOX Series X|S|S versions, store pages for the PS5 and Nintendo Switch 2 versions have been published, confirming that the supported platforms will be the same as those announced initially for international markets.

Note that while the PC (Steam) and PS5 versions are set for release on November 3, 2026, the Nintendo Switch 2 version is scheduled for November 5 of the same month, and the Xbox Series X|S release date has not yet been announced.

"Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters Melee Remastered" is scheduled for release on PC (Steam), PS5, XBOX Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2. Regarding pricing, the Nintendo Store lists the price as 3,600 yen.
