The Arcade Crew and Dotemu announced that the number of wishlist entries for “Wardens of Avalon,” an action RPG for PC (Steam) developed by Runes Studio, has surpassed 100,000.
A top-down action RPG with co-op support set in the world of the “Legend of King Arthur”
This top-down action RPG, based on the “Legend of King Arthur,” supports co-op play for up to four players. Players join the “Twilight Knights,” a knightly order, to explore the ruined paradise of “Avalon,” defeat the forces of darkness, and rebuild a realm worthy of the Knights of the Round Table.
In reclaimed territories, allies such as blacksmiths and apothecaries will build facilities to support players with various elements useful for their adventures, such as crafting items and upgrading equipment. Since territories and equipment can be upgraded using resources obtained through adventures, players should carefully prioritize resource allocation to use them as fuel for new quests and adventures.
Playtest Attracts Attention with 100,000 Wishlist Entries!
During the announcement, the developers expressed gratitude for the 100,000 wishlist additions, along with feedback from the recently concluded and highly successful playtest, and stated that they will continue development based on this input. They also noted that they will share new information as it becomes available.Furthermore, several comments on the gameplay trailer praised the high quality of the playtest, reflecting the high level of anticipation for this title.
*Wardens of Avalon* is currently in development for PC (Steam) and is scheduled for release sometime in 2027.
