Sucker Punch Productions is a game studio under Sony Interactive Entertainment. Known for the *inFAMOUS* series and *Ghost of Tsushima*, the studio released *Ghost of Yōtei* in 2025.
The international media outlet Aftermath reported, citing information from a former Sucker Punch employee, that 24 layoffs were carried out at Sucker Punch Productions. They also stated that they had confirmed an email sent to employees, which explained the layoffs as “the result of carefully assessing market challenges and considering the staffing needs of the team for our next project.”
According to Aftermath, Sucker Punch Productions has fewer than 200 employees.
