Daedalic Entertainment has announced that the price of its currently available survival horror game, *Barotrauma*, will be adjusted in certain regions.

A price reduction is planned for Japan.

This multiplayer-enabled submarine survival horror game involves accepting missions in various locations and navigating the dimly lit ocean depths in a submarine while confronting unknown threats.

This price adjustment is being implemented as the release of DLC approaches and due to inflation causing prices in some regions to deviate from the standard U.S. dollar price. It is based on the principle of “maintaining equivalent prices worldwide and across different currencies.”

The main changes are as follows:

Japan, South Korea, Poland: Prices will be adjusted
downward Middle East, Russia, Ukraine: Prices will be adjusted upward

These adjustments are scheduled to take effect after the current half-price sale ends.

Additionally, further details regarding the major expansion DLC “Home & Harbor”—which introduces deep-sea base ownership and construction elements, as well as the new faction “The Descendants”—are expected to be released soon. Since the DLC was originally scheduled for release this fall, it may be coming out any day now.

“Barotrauma” is currently available for PC (Steam) for 4,800 yen. It is also available at a 50% discount—2,400 yen—through November 2. The exact percentage of the price reduction is unknown.
