5TH Cell, known as the developer of *Scribblenauts* (*Maxwell’s Mysterious Notebook*), has announced *Broke Wizards*, a cooperative game for up to six players.
Earn Rent by Taking on Various Jobs
In this game, you’ll team up with your wizard roommates to tackle a variety of one-off jobs to earn the rent you owe to your giant imp landlord. There are plenty of crazy jobs to choose from, ranging from monster hunting to races and Prop Hunt (a game of hide-and-seek with hidden objects). It seems you can even skip work sometimes to just chill with your friends.
Wizards’ Side Hustles
From saving the town to exploring backrooms, participating in magical crow races, and even playing *Slitherin’*—that *Snake* clone game beloved by wizards—on your smartphone, the world is overflowing with unique jobs. Some pay well, while others are quick and easy to complete.
Combat
These wizards aren’t just strong… they’re overpowered! Defeat monsters and save the town. Just make sure not to destroy buildings and wreak havoc on the town in the process—otherwise, you won’t get your reward.
Chill Out
Rent is due this weekend. So let’s all just take it easy. Watch videos, play instruments, play tag, battle in the Player Arena, or set off fireworks. Sometimes, slacking off is the whole point.
Customize Your Wizard
Try on a new hoodie, unlock a new magic board, or craft and equip hats and wings. If you find and hatch a Pocketdragon egg, you can even get a companion.
Collect Magic Keys
Everything you do—from exploring and working to solving puzzles and even paying rent—turns into Magic Keys. Collect them all to open a treasure chest containing your house deed, and say goodbye to that devilish landlord!
