On October 23, 2026, THQ Nordic announced that it will release an update on October 29 for the medieval European simulation game *The Guild 1 Remake: Europa 1410*, which is currently in Early Access on Steam.

Remarriage will now be possible—could this lead to disputes over inheritance!?

This game is a simulator where you take on the role of a resident of medieval Europe and experience daily life. The game’s appeal lies in its high degree of freedom: players can not only strive to build a business as a merchant or defend cities as a mercenary, but also become a bandit and commit all manner of evil deeds.

This update includes improvements to make running a business more comfortable and rewarding. Management functions for business operators have been improved; players can now assign tasks in greater detail, and production times have been adjusted.

The economic system has also been refined, making the unique characteristics of each city’s market more distinct. This increases the importance of cross-city trade.

The marriage system has also been improved in this update: players can now remarry after the death of a spouse, and parents can take a more active role in choosing marriage partners for their children. With the addition of numerous new events related to childbirth and inheritance, players may experience not only happy family life but also dramatic inheritance disputes stemming from complex family ties.

“The Guild 1 Remake: Europa 1410” is currently available in Early Access on PC (Steam) for 4,389 yen. A demo version is also available; while it does not currently support Japanese, the developers plan to add multilingual support through future Early Access updates.
