A mod called “Dynamic Bottle Liquids,” which enhances the visual representation of drinkable items in the PC version of *Fallout 4*, has been released on Nexus Mods.
A Mod Inspired by ‘Half-Life: Alyx’ That Adds a Massive Amount of Realistic Liquid Effects Is Now Available

“Dynamic Bottle Liquids” is a mod that enhances the liquid visuals of beverage items—including “Nuka-Cola”—in the vanilla (unmodified) version of *Fallout 4*. While the colors of vanilla beverages vary depending on the item, when placed on the map, they were rendered as little more than “colored bottles.”
Meanwhile, this mod adds realistic liquid effects inspired by *Half-Life: Alyx*. It replaces existing drink items, making them look as if they actually contain liquid.

Not only does the scenery behind the bottle refract through the glass and liquid, but when you shake or tilt the bottle, the air inside moves—and in the case of carbonated drinks, bubbles form.

Note that while the source of inspiration, *Half-Life: Alyx*, is a VR title, the mod’s creator does not have a VR setup and therefore states that *Fallout 4 VR* is not supported.

“Dynamic Bottle Liquids” is currently available on Nexus Mods for *Fallout 4*. Please check the prerequisite mods and install at your own risk.
