Targem Games has rolled out an update featuring a major graphical overhaul for its free-to-play MMO action game, *Crossout*.
A Reborn Battlefield
With this update—which has also seen the game renamed from *Crossout* to *Crossout Remastered*—the developers report improvements to lighting, landscapes, and effects, as well as enhancements to dynamic water and shadow rendering.Additionally, the update features the new “Whispers of the Wasteland” event, where players can obtain a special rocket launcher, as well as a Halloween event, updates to Clan War mode, new and revamped Brawls, and numerous UI improvements.

The difference is immediately apparent in *Crossout Remastered*, which is now available as a free-to-play title for PC (Steam), PS5, and XBOX (as of this writing, the PS4 version does not appear to have received the update yet).
