CD PROJEKT RED has released "Update 2.5 (Edgerunners 2 Update)," a free update for the open-world RPG *Cyberpunk 2077*, for PC, Mac, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S.It is scheduled to be released for Nintendo Switch 2 in the near future.
New Side Quest Added That Serves as a Prequel to the Anime “Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2”
This update adds a new side quest titled “Clampdown,” which serves as a prequel to the anime “Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2.”As a reward for completing the quest, players will receive a 5-piece set themed after the character “King,” and a new radio station, “HKGN 102.0 FM,” featuring music from the “Edgerunners” series, will also be introduced.
On the combat front, the new perk “Double Trouble” allows you to dual-wield power pistols and revolvers, and you can now customize the appearance of arm cyberware such as the Mantis Blade and Gorilla Arm.
Mod support via mod.io has also been implemented, allowing players on PS5, PS5 Pro, and Xbox Series X|S to install mods directly from within the game. Additionally, support for DLSS 4.5 has been added, and a field of view slider has been introduced for console versions.
"Cyberpunk 2077" is now available for PC (Steam, Epic Games Store, GOG.com, Microsoft Store), Mac, PS5/PS4, XBOX Series X|S/XBOX One|S, XBOX One, and Nintendo Switch 2.
