"Anyone playing it safe? Nope, right!?" — "Higashi Ribe" Mikey, who has joined the fighting game *Fatal Fury CotW*, stays true to the source material by not hitting female characters! Draken also makes an appearance.

SNK has released Season 3 of *Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves* (hereinafter *Fatal Fury: CotW*)"DESTINED FOR REVENGE," featuring Manjiro Sano (Mikey) and Ken Ryuguji (Draken) from *Tokyo Revengers*.

“Anyone here playing it safe? Nope, right!?”—I’m gonna take down Mebius… no, wait—I’m gonna take down everyone!!

*Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves* is the latest installment in the long-running fighting game series, whose first title was released in 1991. One of its defining features is the inclusion of collaboration characters—ranging from real-life figures like Salvatore Ganacci and Cristiano Ronaldo to Ken-shirō from *Fist of the North Star*.

Joining the roster this time are two characters from *Tokyo Revengers*: Manjiro Sano, known as “Mikey,” the leader of the Tokyo Manji Gang, and Ken Ryuguji, known as “Draken,” the vice-leader. As in the anime, the Japanese voice actors are Isamu Hayashi as Mikey and Katsuya Fukunishi as Draken.

Nicknamed “The Invincible Mikey,” Mikey is a fighter who confuses his opponents with overwhelming speed and sharp kicking techniques. Draken, on the other hand, relies on power and toughness, fighting with a heavy-hitting, head-on style.

In terms of the story, new episodes featuring both characters have been added to the RPG mode, “EOST MODE.” To rescue Rock, who has been kidnapped by Krauser, Mikey and Draken—who were once taken in by Terry and the others in South Town—set out to defeat Krauser.

“ARCADE MODE” also features separate stories for Mikey—who was summoned to South Town by the power of a secret scroll—and Draken, who sets out in pursuit of him after he vanishes.

Mikey doesn’t hit women. Does his Super Special Move, “Hidden Gear,” recreate a scene from the original series?

There are also moments that will make fans of the original series smile. Mikey’s super special move, “Hidden Gear: Let’s Settle This?”, is designed so that if the opponent is a male character, he mercilessly pounds them with his fists, but if the opponent is a female character, he gently slaps her cheek and tosses her aside—a move that avoids actually hitting her.

This appears to be a recreation of a scene from Chapter 5 of Volume 1 of the original manga. After being slapped by the heroine Hinata, Mikey turns to the protagonist Takemichi, who had stepped in, and says, “So, how do you want to die?” but then quickly changes his tone, adding, “Just kidding.” He laughs and says, “I’d never lay a hand on a girl.”

To commemorate the collaboration, original costumes based on characters from *Fatal Fury CotW* are available for free for both characters. Mikey’s costume is based on “Terry Bogard,” while Draken’s is based on “Vox Reaper,” with unique twists added to suit each character’s style.

Mikey and Draken are included in “Season Pass 3” (1,980 yen). Laocoon is scheduled for release in November, and Reina from *Tekken 8* in December.
