On October 21, indie game studio CONCODE released a new trailer for the mystery action adventure game *Graytail* and announced that the game will be released in late 2027.

The studio also revealed that it has received development funding from “Outersloth,” an indie game fund operated by Innersloth, the studio behind *Among Us*.

Unravel mysteries across five areas

*Graytail* is a mystery action adventure game set on a small, isolated island in the Pacific Ocean, where the protagonist—a detective—searches for a missing female pilot while uncovering the island’s hidden secrets.

Featuring *Zelda*-like gameplay, players will solve various puzzles and explore a total of five areas on a motorcycle, utilizing actions such as grabbing, throwing, and jumping, as well as their main weapon—a cane—and secondary weapons like an umbrella and a Frisbee.

The developer, CONCODE, is a two-person studio, and this title has been in development for nearly four years. At the time of writing, the game has surpassed 50,000 Steam wishlist entries, and the currently available demo has earned a “Very Positive” rating with a 98% approval rating based on 102 reviews. The project has now received funding from Outersloth.

Investors include Casey Yano, co-founder of Mega Crit Games (creators of the *Slay the Spire* series), among others. CONCODE has indicated that it plans to use this funding to refine the combat system and enhance the quality of the story and exploration areas.Additionally, the current demo will end distribution in November 2026, and a new demo featuring updated combat is scheduled to be released at a later date.

*Graytail* is scheduled for release in late 2027 for PC (Steam/Microsoft Store) and Xbox Series X|S. It will also support Xbox Play Anywhere. According to the developer, the game is planned for release on other platforms as well.
