Everyday Actions Turned into Bizarre Stories

Yamamoto is a content director at SCRAP who has worked on numerous real-life escape games. While he had previously been posting content such as “Web Puzzles” and “Puzzles That Are Scary Once You Know the Answer” on his X account, since October he has been releasing a series of short horror games that can be played in about one to two minutes.

The first in this series was “Blink Check,” released on October 4. In this game, players tap to find people with their eyes closed in a group photo, only to be met with a spine-chilling twist. As of this writing, the announcement post has garnered approximately 31,000 likes, and impressions have surpassed 10 million.

After releasing four new titles following “Blink Check,” “Ladder,” released on October 12, also generated a huge response. This game involves climbing a ladder that stretches toward the sky; while simple in concept, it features seven different endings. The announcement post garnered approximately 29,000 likes, and at one point, 400,000 users accessed it, demonstrating significant interest from the community.

As of this writing, the latest release is *Eraser*, published on October 18. With simple controls—"hold the eraser and rub to erase"—the game starts by having you erase specified objects but eventually leads to an unsettling conclusion.

In addition, Mr. Yamamoto has released several other titles, including “Traffic Survey” and “Puku Puku.” For more details, please check his X account (@moya_vc).

Additionally, the real-life escape game *Escape from Kisaragi Station*, created by Yamamoto, is currently running at the Real Escape Game Shibuya location. Based on the internet-born urban legend “Kisaragi Station,” participants who have wandered into a station in another world must explore the station and solve puzzles to find a way back to the real world. Please check the official website for more details.
