It has been announced that the open beta test for “NightCoop,” a fan-made co-op mod for *Cyberpunk 2077*, will begin at 12:00 a.m. on October 24 (Japan Standard Time).
Sharing the Same World
This mod enables co-op play for up to eight players in the popular game *Cyberpunk 2077*, allowing all participating players to share the same world and progress through the campaign together.
Quests, cutscenes, and combat are all shared, and each player controls their own unique “V.” Additionally, the host can enable PvP at any time at their discretion.

The host’s world
—including quest progress, NPC status, and the state of the city—is based on the host’s save file, and guests join that world.Your Own “V”:
Each guest brings their own character, including appearance, level, equipment, and cyberware. Shopping at stores and procedures at the Rep-Doc are also handled individually by each player.Conversation Choices via Voting
Story choices are determined by a majority vote among the players. Cutscenes play simultaneously for everyone, but only V’s voice will be that of each player’s character.Shared Combat: Situations such as
enemies, gunfire, grenades, and character deaths are shared equally among all players. Damage dealt by any player is reflected in the game.Vehicles and Travel
: Players can ride together in a single vehicle as a driver and passengers, or they can each drive their own vehicle. Travel sequences that advance the story are also experienced together by all players.Enemy Enhancements (Optional)
: Depending on the host’s settings, difficulty can be increased not by raising enemy health, but by adding new skills (such as grenade use, blocking, and smarter AI).
“NightCoop” will be available on the mod’s official website. The full version of *Cyberpunk 2077* (Patch 2.31) is required to use this mod. Please install the mod at your own risk.
