On October 15, FRONTIER GAMES released a new free horror typing game titled “Typing.” The game supports both keyboard input and smartphone swipe input.

No jump scares whatsoever—play with peace of mind even at midnight

“Typing” is a typing game where you input short sentences that appear one after another on the screen. Once you finish typing the displayed words or sentences, the screen changes, and the meaning behind what you typed is revealed. It’s the kind of horror game where the fear creeps up on you gradually.

There are three different endings, but since each playthrough takes less than a minute, you can easily try it over and over again. If you read the in-game hints carefully, unlocking all the endings isn’t that difficult. Since this is strictly a slow-burn horror title, there are no jump scares involving sudden sounds or visual effects.

This game has become quite the talk of the town, with the creator’s announcement post racking up about 6.4 million views. It’s perfect for playing alone late at night, and since it’s so easy to give a try, why not give it a go?

"Typing" is currently available for free on PC and smartphone browsers.
