Wild Dog announced that cumulative sales of “Japanese Ramen Simulator,” released on October 9, have surpassed 100,000 copies, and also unveiled its roadmap for future updates.
A simulation game where you can experience every aspect of running a ramen shop, from prep to cleanup
This game is a ramen shop management simulation that supports online co-op play for up to six players. Players handle everything from preparing ingredients to cooking, serving, customer service, and cleanup, using physics-based plating to create bowls tailored to each order.
During business hours, events such as visits from discerning ramen critics, burglars, and fires may occur. You can not only divide roles among friends to run the shop but also hire part-time staff to manage it solo.
Game*Spark has published a play report featuring a real ramen shop employee, so please check it out to learn more about the game’s appeal.
From Karaage and Fried Rice to Street-Style Ramen—A 3-Stage Roadmap Revealed
Wild Dog states that during the Early Access period, they will continue to improve the game’s systems and add new content while incorporating feedback received via the Steam Community Hub and the official Discord server.

The newly released roadmap outlines future update plans in three phases: short-term, medium-term, and long-term. The short-term focus is on “Content Additions and Solo Play Improvements.”
As part of the short-term phase, the game will introduce a new menu item—“Fried Chicken”—along with a meal ticket machine, a self-service water dispenser, and a character creation feature for part-time jobs. New critics and difficulty levels will also be added, and the level cap will be raised to 35.
For the medium term, under the theme “Addition of New Elements and Features,” the game will expand the range of part-time jobs players can assign—such as gyoza and beer service—to enhance the solo gameplay experience. We also plan to add a new menu item, “Fried Rice”; “My Sound,” which lets you customize in-store BGM and entrance sounds; security turrets; shop presets; a tutorial guide; and text chat. Additionally, the level cap will be raised to 40.

In the long term, under “Further Expansion of Content,” the plan is to introduce new ramen varieties, street-stall ramen, and a noodle-making feature to broaden the scope of ramen creation and shop management. New gambling features and a photo mode are also planned, and the level cap will be raised to 50.
Please note that since the roadmap is a work in progress, the specific features and their order of implementation may change depending on development progress and player feedback.
"Japanese Ramen Simulator" is currently available in Early Access for PC (Steam). The price is 1,900 yen, and until October 24, it can be purchased at a 15% discount for 1,615 yen.
