QueseraGames has announced that the rhythm adventure game *Nientum - Op.ZERO*, currently available on Steam Early Access, will officially launch on Wednesday, October 14, 2026.

This title is a 2D rhythm action game developed by QueseraGames, a South Korean indie studio known for the rhythm games *KALPA* (mobile version, with over 1.7 million cumulative downloads worldwide) and *KALPA: Cosmic Symphony*.It features a gameplay style where players play music by tapping notes with simple two-button controls while racing through behind-the-scenes courses. Early Access began on November 24, 2025, and the game has currently achieved a “Very Positive” rating on Steam, with 98% of 156 user reviews being positive.

Major Content Expansions in Version 1.0

In Version 1.0, the official release, the story will advance significantly from the Early Access version. New Chapters 6 through 10 will be added, bringing the main story to a conclusion. Additionally, extra chapters will be available after completing the main story.

Twenty new tracks will also be added for free-play mode. Track titles and participating composers will be revealed sequentially on the official X account prior to release. The game also includes usability improvements such as a “Collection” feature to view collectibles gathered in Story Mode, a “Hard” difficulty setting for each track, and a scene-skipping function.

The game features over 30 tracks, story tracks spanning more than 10 chapters, and over 12 hours of playtime based on the main story, with sound design supported by composers from Japan and abroad, including Kagetora, Halv, and seatrus.

A mobile version is also in development, targeting a simultaneous release on October 14

In new developments, it has been revealed that a mobile version for iOS and Android is also in development, with the goal of a simultaneous release on Wednesday, October 14. Details regarding the mobile version are scheduled to be announced on September 1, 2026.

Additionally, the game has been selected for the “SELECTED INDIE 80” showcase at the Tokyo Game Show 2026 (September 17–21, Makuhari Messe), where a playable demo will be available at the booth. Further details will be announced in early September.

Fully Voiced in Japanese with a Fairy-Tale-Inspired Story

The game is set in a forgotten theater. Two girls who have lost their memories—Rio, who has become an actress, and Alef, who has become a stage director—weave a story as they dash through the backstage areas.Well-known stories such as *The Wizard of Oz*, *Cinderella*, and *The Legend of King Arthur* are reinterpreted as “twisted musicals,” and the game features a multi-ending system where the conclusion changes based on the player’s choices.

The in-game songs feature Japanese vocals, and the dialogue is fully voiced in Japanese. The main cast includes a lineup of talented voice actors such as Chika Anzai as Alef, Yuki Takada as Riola, and Takehito Koyasu as Mordred.

The game has already received high acclaim both domestically and internationally, including the BIC (Busan Indie Connect Festival) 2024 Excellence in Audio award, second place in the gamescom asia 2024 Audience Award, and selection for the Google Indie Games Accelerator 2024.

"Nientum - Op.ZERO" is scheduled for official release on PC (Steam) on October 14, 2026. The Early Access version is priced at 2,200 yen (tax included), while the price for the full version has yet to be determined. A mobile version (iOS/Android) is also currently in development, with the goal of releasing it on the same day.
