SNAPTIC LLC has released a demo version of the PC puzzle-action game "SNAPTIC" on Steam.
Steam Workshop support is also confirmed! Experience 3D action combined with OS-style puzzle elements
Set inside a laptop that has been abandoned since 2007, this puzzle-action game follows the pictogram-style protagonist “Anon” on an adventure.
The game features retro-style visuals that blend various aesthetic influences, including those of the original PlayStation.In terms of action, players can jump from platform to platform and transform into a ball to move by sticking to walls like a magnet. The game also includes puzzle elements where players can open videos and text files within the game—much like operating a PC’s OS—and reveal “invisible platforms” through windows.
In this demo version, players can enjoy the game’s atmosphere and action using mouse and keyboard or a controller, and announcements on various SNS platforms have garnered tens of thousands of “likes,” drawing significant attention. In particular, the replies to the official X post are filled with praise for the art style and comments from users thoroughly enjoying the demo.
Additionally, a Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign for this title has been underway since September 30, 2026. As of this writing, it has raised approximately 40 million yen (about 250,000 USD)—significantly exceeding the target amount of approximately 9.5 million yen(60,000 USD), and stretch goals such as Japanese localization and Steam Workshop support have been confirmed.
The “SNAPTIC” demo is available on Steam. The crowdfunding campaign is running on Kickstarter through October 30, 2026.
