"Project Zomboid," an open-world zombie survival game developed and published by The Indie Stone, now has a VR-compatible mod called "PZVR."
A 2D survival game where you run from zombies is now VR-compatible!?

*Project Zomboid* is a 2D open-world survival-crafting game with a top-down perspective where players race against the clock to see how long they can survive by evading zombies. The game’s popularity stems from the challenge of dealing with zombies that steadily close in.
While mods that convert the game to FPS/TPS have been around for some time, “PZVR”—developed by axizt—is a VR-compatible mod based on “Project Viewpoint,” one of those existing mods.Players can connect their VR headsets and dive into *Project Zomboid* from a first-person perspective.

Currently, “PZVR” supports only VR perspective and controller controls, but a version with full-body tracking and haptics support, developed by GingasVR, is scheduled for release in the future.
The “PZVR” VR mod for *Project Zomboid* is available on the Steam Workshop. Please check the respective pages for detailed installation instructions, including required mods, and install at your own risk.
