On October 11, 2026, game creator Yuji Horii released the short adventure game *Komiya in the Interrogation Room*.
Yuji Horii Creates a Game in 30 Minutes Using AI

In this game, players take on the role of a detective and interrogate “Komiya,” an elderly man suspected of breaking into a safe. The objective is to determine whether Komiya is the culprit during the allotted visitation time.
An elderly man named “Komiya” also appeared in *The Portopia Serial Murders*, one of Yuji Horii’s most famous adventure games; this may be a self-referential homage or perhaps set in a parallel universe to this new title.

In this game, you’ll uncover the full truth of the case by pointing out contradictions between Komiya’s statements and the evidence at your disposal. If you can present irrefutable evidence, Komiya will likely confess to the crime.
Although this is a short game that can be completed in about 5 to 10 minutes, it offers a satisfying gameplay experience, including the ability to review statements. Regarding this title, Mr. Horii remarked, “Just by giving instructions to the AI, I was able to create a decent game all by myself. It’s truly amazing,” and “It only took about 30 minutes to make the game,” which once again highlights the recent advancements in AI.
“Komiya in the Interrogation Room” can be played on various browsers.
