The Steam version of “The Doll Shop,” a horror visual novel set in Japan and created by the French comic book duo Cecile Brun and Olivier Pichard—known as Atelier Sentô—is scheduled for release in October 2026.

The Story of a Young Dollmaker
This game tells the story of a quiet and secretive dollmaker living in rural Japan. When his childhood friend returns to the village, he must choose between the doll he loves and the hope of a new life.

Inspired by the nostalgic landscapes of northern Japan, every element in the game is hand-drawn in a graphic novel style on an iPad. Rather than opting for dark and terrifying visuals, the developers have deliberately chosen a warm, colorful style to create a striking contrast in the player’s mind.

Key Features
Repair eerie dolls and reunite them with their owners.
Explore a small Japanese village. Visit shrines, soak in public baths, and enjoy all sorts of other activities.
Sample all kinds of ramen recipes at local restaurants!
Three different endings. Find them all to unlock the hidden ending!

"The Doll Shop," a game where horror elements hold a strange sense of comfort and romance carries a twisted charm, is scheduled for release on Steam for PC in October 2026.
Additionally, Cecile Brun and Olivier Pichard appear as NPCs in *DEATH STRANDING 2* after Director Kojima featured their past work on social media.
