A Dark World Depicted in Cartoon-Style Graphics

This game is an action-adventure title that blends FPS and roguelike elements, rendered in a unique cartoon-style art style.

You play as a priest whose church was burned down by a mysterious witch. Burdened with the strange fate of being resurrected at a grave every time you die, you venture into caves where monsters and cultists lie in wait. Explore dungeons that change their layout with every attempt, and utilize over 60 types of firearms and hundreds of items as you make your way toward the depths where the witch awaits.

Weapons can be customized with a variety of enchantments and attachments. Depending on the player’s choices—such as cooking, collecting gear, or combining firearms with melee weapons—a wide range of strategies can emerge. Along the way, you’ll encounter mysterious beings, and your interactions and decisions with them will influence the course of your adventure.

According to the developer, they are planning free updates—including a multiplayer mode—after the official release, as well as future DLC.

Additionally, the Japanese Nintendo Switch and PS5 physical editions are scheduled for release on March 11, 2027, through Neos’ indie game label, “IndieTech Games.” They will include limited-edition bonuses such as a wooden rubber band gun, stickers, and a soundtrack download code.

*SULFUR* is scheduled for release on October 28, 2026, for PC (Steam), PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo Switch 2.
