NVIDIA has released Game Ready Driver version "617.42" for its graphics cards (GPUs).
Optimized for new and existing titles!
This driver includes optimizations for *Dragon’s Dogma 2* and its expansion *Dark Arisen*, as well as *Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4*, *Star Wars: Galactic Racer*, *Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024*, and *Valor Mortis*.
As for existing titles, starting with the game’s main update on October 9, *Dragon’s Dogma 2* will see its super-resolution technology “DLSS Super Resolution” updated to version 4.5, and “DLSS FRAME GENERATION” will support multi-frame generation.In *Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024*, “Sim Update 7,” scheduled for release on October 13, is expected to support multi-frame generation at up to 6x.
Additionally, support for DLSS 4.5 will be added to *Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4* and *Star Wars: Galactic Racer*.
Please note that the issue present since version “610.47”—where “Prioritize Maximum Performance” in Power Management Mode may not be applied correctly—persists. Additionally, compared to the previous version, DLSS 4.5 places a heavier performance load on “RTX 20/30 Series” graphics cards.
