Pixomnia Studio has launched a limited-time open beta test on Steam for the multiplayer FPS *Airsoft Online*, scheduled for release in Q4 2026.

A Competitive FPS That Lets You Experience “Airsoft”

This game lets players enjoy survival games using airsoft guns. A variety of airsoft guns with different operating mechanisms—from spring-powered to gas blowback—are available, and the game employs a proprietary physics system based on real-world fluid dynamics to accurately reproduce the trajectory of the plastic BBs fired.

You can also tune your airsoft guns by modifying internal parts—for example, by enhancing the hop-up to improve accuracy, attaching a shorter inner barrel to increase stealth, or mounting a red dot sight on a sniper rifle to enjoy a more aggressive playstyle.

The playtest runs until the end of “Steam Next Fest”

A limited-time playtest for *Airsoft Online* is currently underway, and the game can be downloaded from the Steam store page. The playtest is scheduled to run from October 20 (Japan Time)—when the “Steam Next Fest: October 2026 Edition” is set to begin—until October 27 (Japan Time), the event’s end date.

During the test, the newly implemented “Loadout Editor” will be available, allowing players to save their individual setups—including weapons, attachments, and tuning—as custom loadouts. An offline shooting range is also provided to make it easier to experiment with tuning.

At the end of the update, the team reported that they are currently working on developing an unlock system for the in-game shop, which is modeled after a real airsoft store. The shop will offer weapons, BBs, upgrade parts, and cosmetic items, all purchasable using in-game currency. The team also explicitly stated that they have no plans to offer real-money purchases.

*Airsoft Online* is scheduled for release on PC (Steam) in Q4 2026.
