On October 8, 2026, akaeroCore began distributing the slow-life adventure games *Daily Life with Kon-Kitsune* and *Secrets with Sophia*, developed by Megami Soft, on Steam.
Games That Couldn’t Be Released on Steam Before Make a Comeback with a New Publisher
*Daily Life with Konko* is a slow-life adventure game where you spend your days with the fox spirit “Konko.” You’ll lead a laid-back life, spending each day with Konko in the “Good Deeds Club,” performing good deeds, drinking tea, petting her head, and watching period dramas.
You can customize Konko’s appearance by collecting clothes, hairstyles, and accessories. The outfits you choose will appear in event scenes, so it’s worth experimenting to find your favorite combinations.
This title was previously scheduled for release on Steam with DLsite as the publisher (see: SteamDB).However, it was revealed in 2021 on Ci-en that the game failed Steam’s review process at least three times and was ultimately banned from sale. Consequently, the all-ages version originally intended for Steam was released as a free title on DLsite, reportedly resulting in a loss of nearly 5 million yen due to various expenses.
Now, with a new publisher, the game has finally gone on sale.
Back in 2021 on Ci-en, the developer passionately declared, “I’ll give up everything and stake everything on ‘bringing Konko to life in the world’!” It could be said that, after five long years, that dream has finally come true.
Additionally, “The Secret with Sophia,” another game from the same developer, has also begun distribution on Steam.
The hit title *Daily Life with Konko*, which sold approximately 50,000 copies on Steam, is now available on PC (Steam/DLsite). *The Secret with Sophia* is also available on PC (Steam/DLsite).
