Embark Studios has released "The Frozen Path," a major update for the PvPvE escape shooter *ARC Raiders* on PC (Steam, Epic Games Store, Microsoft Store), PS5, and XBOX Series X|S.
The Largest Update in the Game’s History Adds a New, Icy Map
Set on a desolate Earth overrun by mysterious mechanical lifeforms known as “ARC,” this PvPvE escape shooter puts players in the role of “Raiders”—residents of an underground colony—who plunder supplies from the surface.In addition to new features such as hideout expansions and weapon customization, this update introduces the new frozen map “Pendra Pass” and the new threats lurking there, all waiting to challenge players.
Free-to-play available until 5:00 PM on October 12
To coincide with the update release, a limited-time Free-to-Play event will be held on all platforms until 5:00 PM on October 12.Although certain conditions apply to unlocking the new map, new players will be able to access “Pendora Pass” by teaming up with players who have already unlocked it.
