The official Digimon YouTube channel has released a video featuring Digimon’s “Terriermon Assistant” playing *ACE COMBAT 8: WINGS OF THEVE*. The video shows “Terriermon Assistant”—who describes himself as a “complete novice” to the series—taking on “MISSION 4.”

This title is the latest entry in the dramatic flight shooter series, where players freely soar through the skies in fighter jets amid realistic graphics. It was released on October 2, and as of this writing (October 6), it has an “Overwhelmingly Positive” rating on Steam, with 80% of 10,769 reviews recommending the game.
Additionally, onMetacritic, it has a Metascore of 88 (PS5, 63 reviews), making it the second-highest score in the series’ history.
"Terriamon Assistant" Takes on the Challenge
A gameplay video featuring the Digimon “Terriamon Assistant” from this title has been released on the official Digimon channel. Manabu Shimomoto, the game’s producer, also makes an appearance.
Although “Terriamon Assistant” describes himself as a “complete novice” to the series, after checking the controls in the tutorial, he took on “MISSION 4.” The challenge involves aiming to clear the mission within three attempts.
On the first attempt, “Terriermon Assistant” flew cautiously at high altitude but, upon spotting the target, began to descend—only to lose control and crash. This moment was even featured on the official Digimon Web X account as the “fastest crash.”
