On October 6, IllFonic announced that the first DLC for the asymmetrical stealth horror game *Halloween: The Game* will be available starting October 28, 2026.
A new map will also be distributed free of charge to owners of the base game.
This game is an asymmetrical stealth horror title based on the 1978 slasher film classic *Halloween*.
Players are divided into the killer, Michael Myers, and the survivors, facing off in a 1-vs-4 match. The survivors must engage in a cat-and-mouse game with Michael while aiming to rescue not only themselves but also the NPC residents scattered throughout the map.

The first DLC pack announced for this game will feature skins recreating Michael from the 1989 film *Halloween V: The Return of the Boogeyman* and the 2018 film *Halloween*, as well as new civilian characters and costumes.Additionally, players who have purchased the base game will receive the new “Tower Farm” map, inspired by *Halloween V*, for free.

The mask from “Halloween 5: The Return of the Boogeyman” is characterized by its overall baggy fit and a somewhat goofy-looking face. Following this announcement, some comments on the international forumRedditcalled it “tacky,” while others pointed out that this was indeed how the character appeared in the movie.
It’s worth noting that while the mask for “5” was initially designed to resemble the one from the first film, modifications were made on set to enlarge the nose and eyes (according to the series’ official website).Don Shanks, who plays Michael, recalled that sponge was inserted inside the neck area to keep it from hugging the face too tightly; upon reviewing the newly released trailer, it appears these design elements have been faithfully recreated.
*Halloween: The Game* is currently available for PC (Steam/ Epic Games Store) andXBOX Series X|S(the PS5 version is not yet available in Japan). It also supports Japanese. Additionally, on the same day the first DLC is released, a free update is scheduled to be rolled out, featuring new features, bug fixes, and quality-of-life improvements.
