"It supports Japanese, but how can we reach Japanese players?"—The creator of "Copy Cats," an action-puzzle game where you make copies to help kittens escape, has received a flood of opinions and feedback.

Finnish game developer Advent has sparked discussion by posting on X about how to make his kitten action-puzzle game, *Copy Cats*, available to Japanese users.

Exchanging various impressions about the game

This pixel-art action-puzzle platformer follows a kitten trapped in a virtual world following an accident at a research lab. The kitten uses the power of a mysterious cloning machine to create copies of itself and struggles to solve puzzles in an attempt to escape.

Advent’s post drew a variety of reactions, ranging from advice on the game’s content to requests for cat meows. Incidentally, it seems the cats do meow during the story’s cutscenes.

When asked about the cat variations, Advent explained that the white clone cat mimics all of the player’s movements, and as the game progresses, cats with increasingly complex movements will continue to appear.

Reactions from Japan have generally focused on the cuteness of the cats and the difficulty of the puzzles. There have also been suggestions to have VTubers play the game to help spread the word.

"Copy Cats" is scheduled for release on October 29 for PC (Steam),iOS, andGoogle Play.
