Capcom announced on October 6 that it will release the latest title update for the open-world action RPG *Dragon’s Dogma 2* on October 9.
The long-awaited “Hard Mode” is finally here! You can also start over from the beginning while carrying over your save data.
This update finally adds the “Hard Mode” that had been previously announced. Additionally, a feature has been implemented that allows players to start the game from the beginning while carrying over their current save data.
One of the major changes is the addition of the new “Hard Mode.” As revealed in developer interviews released in August, this mode is being developed to provide challenging combat even for seasoned players whose stats have reached near-maximum levels.

Additionally, a feature has been added that allows you to start the game from the beginning while carrying over your current save data. This lets you enjoy the adventure from the very beginning all over again with the Awakened Ones you’ve already raised.
Regarding Pawns, “Camping Knowledge” has been added as a new specialty.
In addition, the amount of Rim obtained when examining “Forgotten Rimstones” has increased from 30 Rim to 90 Rim. Even if you’ve already examined a Rimstone, you’ll receive the difference when you start the game after the update. Minor adjustments have also been made, such as adding fire resistance to certain pieces of armor.
PS5 Pro now officially supports Enhanced PSSR, while the PC version features FSR 3 frame generation
Platform-specific enhancements have also been implemented.
The PS5 Pro version now officially supports Enhanced PSSR (PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution).
For the PC (Steam) version, the graphics options have been expanded with the addition of “FSR 3 Frame Generation.” Furthermore, “DLSS SUPER RESOLUTION” has been updated to version 4.5, and “DLSS FRAME GENERATION” now supports multi-frame generation.

Furthermore, DLSS FRAME GENERATION can now be used even when DLSS SUPER RESOLUTION is turned off.
In the Steam version, improvements have also been made to the DualSense wireless controller, allowing you to enable adaptive triggers, controller vibration, and motion sensor functions even when connected wirelessly.
Bugs related primarily to Pawns and quests have been fixed

Numerous bug fixes have also been implemented.
For Pawns, issues have been fixed where the priority for using gift-related skills would sometimes decrease, where they would attack with their bare hands even while equipped with a weapon, and where they would sometimes fail to climb or descend ladders.
On the UI side, issues such as item names disappearing from the control guide in the pause menu when changing the button assignments for Custom Skills 5 and 6 have been fixed.
Regarding quests, issues have been addressed, such as a bug in “Ghost Ox Cart” where players could be pushed out of the ox cart by a Pawn while waiting inside, causing them to fall out, and a bug in “Corrupted Monsters” where progress could become stuck if the quest was played between 3:00 AM in-game time and dawn.
