"7 Days to Die": Is your inventory full? Then upgrade your backpack! The stable version of "V3.3.0," which expands your backpack to a maximum of 96 slots, is now available.

The Fun Pimps have released the "V3.3.0 Stable" update for the open-world zombie survival game *7 Days to Die*.

Up to 96 slots! “Bigger Backpack” officially implemented

The highlight of this update is the new “Bigger Backpack” system, which increases the number of items you can carry.

The base inventory has been changed from the previous 9×5 = 45 slots to 8×6 = 48 slots. Of these 48 slots, 4 columns can be used freely, while the remaining 2 columns are subject to the “Encumbered” penalty.

Furthermore, you can expand your inventory by equipping a backpack in the new “Backpack” equipment slot. Backpacks come in three sizes—Small, Medium, and Large—each available in six quality tiers. You can obtain them by crafting, finding them while exploring, or purchasing them.

By using a high-performance backpack, your inventory can be expanded to a maximum of 8 × 12 = 96 slots. You can also eliminate the “Encumbered” status by combining the “Pack Mule” perk with “Armor Pocket Mods.”

Multiple bugs, including a soft lock upon respawn, have been fixed

In addition to the backpack updates, “V3.3.0 Stable” addresses an issue where players couldn’t proceed past the loading screen and improves the respawn process. A timeout mechanism has been implemented to prevent soft locks in situations where the respawn process would previously stall.

Additionally, fixes include a bug where equipment would duplicate based on death settings, an issue where vehicles with items in their inventory could be retrieved on dedicated servers, and a problem where weapons would stop functioning properly if the player died while reloading.

However, even now that the game is in its stable release, several known issues remain. Confirmed issues include the inability to consume items directly from a campfire, the “Euthanizer” perk failing to take effect when activated, and an issue on the Mac version where players cannot join P2P or servers if the client language is set to French.

If you cannot consume items from a campfire, moving them to your backpack first should make them usable. Additionally, the issue where weapons float in the air after switching from a third-person view to a first-person view while using a bow, crossbow, or knuckle-type weapon can be resolved by changing the active tool belt slot while in first-person view.

"7 Days to Die" is currently available for PC (Steam/Microsoft Store),PS5, andXBOX Series X|S.
