rdein of Bombservice has announced the dungeon-crawling RPG *Record of Dorathia*.
The “Twelve Sorcerers” from *Momodora: Moonlight End Roll* make an appearance!

This is the latest title from Bombservice, known for the *Momodora* series of action games featuring beautiful pixel art.
Developer rdein had previously reported that the game was in development as a dungeon-crawling RPG, and on July 1, 2026, he released some early screenshots. Now, the title—*Record of Dorathia*—and further details have been announced.
According to the announcement, players take on the role of a wandering soul who has arrived at a mysterious place called the “Observatory.” After forming a contract with “Monna,” the witch who summoned them, players will travel the world in search of the soul of her sister, “Alma.”

The game is a dungeon-crawling RPG where players create their own characters and form parties; reportedly, most (combat) actions have a limited number of uses. To gain the upper hand in battle, players must target enemies’ weaknesses while also managing buffs and debuffs.
Furthermore, “status effects” are central to combat, and every action available to the player is useful in any situation. For example, the “Sleep” spell is said to put regular enemies into a Sleep state—guaranteeing a critical hit—while putting boss enemies into a “Drowsiness” state that reduces their attack power and agility.

A system currently referred to as “Willpower” has also been implemented; you accumulate one point for each critical hit, kill, or attack on a weakness. When you accumulate three points, the damage dealt by your next action increases significantly, the number of uses isn’t reduced, and healing actions are also affected by this effect.

Regarding party composition, players can form a party of four from eight classes, such as “Dark Knight” and “Cleric,” and can also customize each member’s color palette.

It has also been revealed that the game will focus on the “Twelve Sorcerers” mentioned in *Momodora: Moonlight End Roll*, including the aforementioned “Monna.”

*Record of Dorathia* is currently in development as of this writing. A trailer and Steam store page are scheduled to be released.
