This week’s lineup features three titles: “Witchbrook,” a cooperative magic school life sim; “Under Canopies,” a soothing survival sim free of combat and danger; and “ALICE=NULL,” a yuri visual novel starring a young girl and a cute demon.
Witchbrook
Developed by Chucklefish—a British indie developer and publisher known for *Starbound*—this is a cooperative magic school life simulation game. Players live as a novice witch in the port town of Mossport, learning magic while completing school classes and assignments, and enjoying interactions with friends, romance, and exploring the town.
At the magic school, you’ll acquire skills through classes and exams, and can try your hand at various forms of magic, such as potion-making, astrology, and rituals. While putting the magic you’ve learned to use around town, you can also customize your character with clothes, hairstyles, and accessories, renovate your cottage in the woods, and tend to your garden.

Beyond school life, a variety of activities await, such as starting a business using collected materials, helping local residents, or partnering with shops to earn tuition money.

In Mosport, you can shop at boutiques and restaurants, sell items at the Sunday market, visit the arcade, take photos, and go on dates.You can foster friendships or romantic relationships with a diverse cast of characters, and the game supports online multiplayer for up to four players. You can stroll through town with friends, compete in broomstick races and magic contests, or run a shop together.

Game*Spark is currently featuring a report on the hands-on demo held at “TOKYO GAME SHOW 2026” as well as an interview with the developers.

ALICE=NULL
A yuri visual novel centered on existence, with themes of the soul and wishes. A young girl named Alice summons a demon, who offers her a deal: “I will grant you one wish in exchange for your soul.”

However, with only two days left, she still can’t decide on a wish. The story depicts the strange relationship between a girl who agonizes over her own existence and the meaning of the world, and the demon who seeks to collect her soul.

Although detailed content has not been revealed, a few of the features that have been made public include a “mumbling protagonist,” a “cute demon,” and “school even on Saturdays.” Additionally, the description hints at yuri elements, noting that the demon is surprisingly gullible, finds Alice cute, and is looking forward to playing with her.
