Multiverse announced that, while correcting an erroneous 80% off sale for their game *Pax Autocratica*, the game was mistakenly displayed as if Early Access had ended. The issue has since been resolved, and as of this writing (around 5:00 PM on October 3), the game is available during Early Access at a 20% discount.
An 80% Off Sale Was Accidentally Posted
This game is a colony sim where you manage a totalitarian state and expand your influence. It also features roguelike FPS elements, allowing you to go out on missions yourself to eliminate threats.

Although the game had only just launched in Early Access in August, it was surprisingly marked down by 80% during the Steam Autumn Sale, which began on October 2. While the steep discount raised concerns that development might be ending, it was explained that this was a “human error,” and the price has since been corrected to the intended 20% discount.
Another Mistake Occurs
Although a major pricing error had been corrected, around 7:00 PM on October 2, the “Early Access” label suddenly disappeared from the store page, causing users to feel anxious once again.
On the Steam store forum, users reported, “The 80% discount issue was resolved, but a new Early Access problem has arisen.” Steam Support stated that while correcting the discount, they “accidentally changed other information as well,” but no further details were provided.
Regarding this new issue, it was confirmed viaSteamDBthat the “Early Access” label had been restored around 12:00 PM on October 3, and reports on the same forum indicate that the issue has been resolved.
Due to this issue, the review section now displays a mix of “Early Access” and “Full Release” reviews; however, at the time of writing, 91% of the 3,496 reviews rate the game as “Recommended,” making it “Very Positive.” The gameplay—which blends multiple genres—and the enjoyment of base-building appear to be highly praised.
*Pax Autocratica* is currently available in Early Access for Windows (Steam). The regular price is 3,850 yen, but it is currently 20% off at 3,080 yen through October 9.
