From October 2 to October 9, 2026, Steam is hosting the “Steam Autumn Sale 2026.” Here, we’ve picked out five titles released in 2026 that have made a big splash in this year’s gaming scene. That game you’ve had your eye on—the one you were waiting to play until it got a little cheaper—is now available!

"Beast of Reincarnation" – 20% off: ¥6,384

This is a brand-new action-adventure game developed by Game Freak, known for the “Pokémon” series. Set in a post-apocalyptic Japan, the game follows the journey of the protagonist, Emma, and her companion, Kuu—a journey of one person and one creature.

A key feature of this game is its combat system, which combines real-time and turn-based elements. Players must fight with a sword while coordinating with Kuu and strategizing how to deal with enemies.

Unlike *Pokémon*, this is a story about traveling through a desolate world with a much more serious tone. It takes a different direction from the company’s previous titles.

*PRAGMATA* - 20% off ¥6,392

This is a brand-new sci-fi action-adventure game from Capcom.

The setting is a lunar facility in the near future ruled by AI. Investigator Hugh and the android girl Diana rely on each other’s strengths as they aim to return to Earth.

What makes this game unique is its combat system, which blends puzzles with action. You won’t just be shooting at enemies—you’ll be fighting while hacking them. It was quite fun to quickly move the D-pad to strip away as much of the enemy’s armor as possible while they slowly but surely closed in.

Many players have likely felt a surge of paternal instincts upon seeing Diana’s adorable appearance. Be sure to check it out during this sale.

"Marathon" - 40% off: ¥2,688

This sci-fi extraction shooter comes from Bungie, the studio behind *Destiny 2* and other titles.

The setting is the lost colony “Tau Seti IV.” As a Runner, you infiltrate dangerous areas to recover supplies and loot before escaping.

The key challenge lies in deciding “how far to push your luck.” Venturing deeper might reveal valuable items, but other players and hostile forces will be lying in wait. If you escape safely, you can use the supplies you’ve brought back for your next mission. On the other hand, if you get too greedy and get taken out, you could lose everything.

The sharp, cyberpunk visuals are definitely worth a look!

“ENDLESS Legend 2” – 50% off: ¥2,490

This is the latest title from AMPLITUDE Studios, known for the “ENDLESS” series—a favorite among connoisseurs.

Set on an ever-changing planet, you’ll lead factions with distinct characteristics to build an empire. It’s a 4X strategy game where you expand your influence by combining various elements—not just warfare, but also economics, diplomacy, and exploration.

Furthermore, each faction in this game has a very distinct personality. Even within the same game, the way you play changes depending on the faction you choose, so you’ll find yourself wanting to play again and again, thinking, “Let’s try to win in a different way than last time.”

What’s more, it was just officially released on September 17, 2026. Although Early Access began in September 2025, the game is now 50% off almost immediately after launch—making this an unmissable opportunity for 4X fans who’ve been thinking, “I’ve been interested in this for a while, but it’s a bit pricey.”

*Resident Evil Requiem* - 30% OFF ¥6,293

This is the latest installment in the *Resident Evil* series, a landmark in survival horror celebrating its 30th anniversary.

Featuring dual protagonists, Grace Ashcroft and Leon S. Kennedy, it’s a masterpiece that alternates between thrilling segments and action-packed shoot-’em-ups.From the resource management typical of the series to being chased by monsters through a terrifying mansion to the over-the-top action—everything is top-notch! And now it’s 30% off… As expected of Capcom—they really know how to do business!

This game is cleverly designed so you can enjoy it from either a first-person or third-person perspective. Which one will you choose?
