From October 2 to October 9, 2026, Steam is hosting the “Steam Autumn Sale 2026.”
Here, we’ll introduce five games you can enjoy to the fullest for just 1,000 yen. While they vary in genre and scope, you’re sure to get many times your money’s worth!
"One Turn Kill" – 20% off: ¥960
This is a deck-building roguelike where you have only one turn. As the name suggests, if you don’t defeat your opponent within one turn, you’ll be counterattacked and it’s game over immediately.
As a result, there’s no mana system like in *Slay the Spire*—every time you play a card, you draw cards equal to its cost. You’ll need to draw cards to avoid running out of your deck while also playing high-cost cards occasionally to keep your hand from drying up.
The thrill of pulling off a combo is intense! It was a fun card game where I enjoyed devising versatile decks capable of withstanding repeated battles.

“Glass Masquerade” – 75% off, ¥145
In stark contrast, this is a very laid-back game.
It’s a stained-glass-themed jigsaw puzzle where you combine colorful glass pieces to complete a clock design. As you rotate the small glass pieces, thinking, “This one goes here, that one goes there…,” you can enjoy the simple pleasure of a classic jigsaw puzzle.
From the solemn yet tranquil background music to the illustrations inspired by the cultures of various countries, no detail has been overlooked beyond the gameplay itself. It’s the perfect game to relax with on a long autumn night.

“RV There Yet?” – 40% off: ¥552
It’s a game about a bunch of shady-looking guys in berets riding in an RV on their way home… but it’s surprisingly challenging.
This cooperative adventure game lets up to four players drive a single RV down mountain roads that are far beyond just “rugged”—they’re downright insane. The RV’s physics are incredibly realistic, so it gets stuck at the slightest bump, forcing you to use a winch to pull it out or push it from behind.
It’s fine to struggle through it all, or if it gets too much of a hassle, you can just sit back, smoke a cigarette, and watch your friends do the work—it’s chill yet hectic, hectic yet chill… It’s a game with that perfect balance.

"MotionRec" – 30% off: ¥840
This puzzle-platformer lets you “record” your movements and “play them back” to overcome obstacles.
For example, you can jump in one spot and record that movement. By playing it back in a different spot, you can reach places you wouldn’t normally be able to.
It’s great that as long as you reach your destination, any recording method is acceptable. You don’t necessarily have to record your moves perfectly—you can get by with a bit of brute force—so there’s plenty of room for action gamers to enjoy it too.
It’s a puzzle game with a simple look but plenty of brilliance.

"Proverbs" – 70% off, ¥300
Are you all familiar with proverbs?
“Preaching to a horse’s ear”… “You can’t see what’s just an inch ahead”… No, no—these aren’t Japanese proverbs. They’re Dutch proverbs.
“Proverbs” is a game where you tackle a single, massive puzzle using rules that combine Picross and Minesweeper. What’s more, the puzzle is based on the painting *Proverbs of the Netherlands* by the Dutch artist Pieter Bruegel.
In this game, you painstakingly fill in a ridiculously huge single painting while gradually learning proverbs you’ve never heard of before. It was quite a unique experience.
Do you know what “urinating at the moon” means? Play this game to find out.
