Spike Chunsoft is offering *Mystery Dungeon: Shiren the Wanderer 6: The Coiled Island Chronicles* at a 55% discount (2,691 yen)—its lowest price ever—during the Steam Autumn Sale, which began on October 2, 2026.
The latest entry in the *Shiren the Wanderer* series hits a new all-time low price. Enjoyable for everyone from beginners to advanced players
“Mystery Dungeon: Shiren the Wanderer 6: The Toguro Island Exploration Chronicles” is the latest installment in the “Mystery Dungeon: Shiren the Wanderer” series, a flagship of Japan’s traditional roguelike genre.
Set on “Toguro Island,” where vast treasures are said to lie, the game features the core “Mystery Dungeon” mechanics: “If you die, you lose everything and have to start over,”“You can’t go back once you’ve entered the dungeon,” and “You must always think one step ahead, making the most of your items to escape tight spots”—all while learning the fundamentals of the “Mystery Dungeon” series. The game even features advanced dungeons that will challenge even seasoned players.
This title has now hit a new all-time low price during the current Steam Autumn Sale. While there was a 50% off sale last month in September, this time it’s 55% off (2,691 yen).
According to the external siteSteamDB, the game set a new record for concurrent users during last month’s sale—but will this new all-time low price lead to another record for concurrent users?
In addition, the previous title, *Mystery Dungeon: Shiren the Wanderer 5 Plus: Fortune Tower and the Dice of Fate*, is also on sale for 80% off (596 yen).
While it’s undeniable that this game has significantly more elements and is more complex compared to “6,” it boasts the series’ largest content volume, featuring “day and night cycles that completely change the nature of the dungeons,” “a diverse and vast number of dungeons,” and “unique imitation items as well as new items you can craft yourself.” This is another title I can wholeheartedly recommend.
